This book is intended for the average third grader, the advanced second grader, and remedial fourth graders. This book contains 60 reading comprehension exercises designed to help a student remember what he has read. I would recommend reading each story without a time limit, one story a day, and then answer the eight questions at the bottom on separate paper. Then check your answers with the Standard Test Lessons Teachers Manual, sold separately at this website. After the book has been read through for comprehension, reread it, allowing three minutes each passage. After counting the number of correct answers, look at the bottom of the page to find the approximate grade level score. By keeping track of your progress, you should soon notice improvement in your reading comprehension scores.
